Dear Church Family,
As our church continues to grow and go through various challenges, our marching orders remain the same. We have been called to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus in our world. Our mission is to proclaim a message of hope, exhibited through a life of love.
I believe the demonstration of true love, today, is the greatest need in our world because “the love of many is growing cold” (Matthew 24:12). What is true love? “Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).
You may not measure up to this, and neither do I, but we must grasp for it—for the more and more true love is exhibited in our lives, our witness will break forth and it will be evident that we have been with Jesus.
Incidentally, love is the greatest argument for God. Where true love is, this is evidence of God's existence—because love cannot be found or nurtured outside of God. It’s time for us to light up the world with love—THEN the invisible God will be clearly seen!
I praise God each of you is part of this church family and if you need help of some kind, please do not hesitate to let your church family know. We need each other. No person is an island. Let’s press together!
Courage and Prayers,
Pastor Royce Odiyar
